Surgeries

Spay & neuter are the most common surgeries we perform. These procedures are important in order to manage the pet population and prevent ovarian, testicular and prostate cancer. We recommend spaying or neutering after your pet reaches 4 months of age.
Other common surgeries performed at Crystal Mountain Animal Hospital are tumor removal and repairing broken bones. We use modern anesthesia and radiography technologies in all of our surgeries.
Pre-surgical blood screens and examinations are performed prior to surgery to determine the health of your pet before undergoing a surgical procedure.
While under anesthesia, each pet is carefully monitored using state-of-the-art equipment that measures heart rate, body temperature, and respiratory rate.
Once your pet enters recovery, pain management becomes the top priority when handling your pet's post-op care.
